The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Yamaha MT-10 models of the construction years 2016 to 2021. This accessory is used to secure and practical attachment of a tank bag directly on the motorcycle.

Scope of delivery and assembly

The tanking basic is included in the scope of delivery of the tanking and an adaptable counterholder. The counter holder is installed on the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the handlebar. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even when fueled.

Differences to other tanking systems

The basic tanking ensures the tank bag through a purely mechanical lock, without the support of magnets that are used for centering in other models such as the lock-IT tanking. The base ring is made of metal and is identical to both tanking variants.

It should be noted that a tank bag with a lock-IT counterholder cannot be mounted on a basic tanking and vice versa. The components must be part of the same system.
