The Hepco & Becker Tankring Basic is specially designed for the Yamaha MT-03 motorcycle model from the year of construction 2016 to 2019. This product enables the brand Hepco & Becker brand to be secure and easy to attach.

Product features and scope of delivery

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and a suitable counter holder, which is attached to the tank shape and the handlebars on the tank bag. Instructions for assembly is also included in simplifying the installation. The tank cover remains fully accessible even with assembled tanking.

• The tanking offers a stable hold, even at higher speeds.
• The tank bag is assembled by simply putting on the tanking and is confirmed by an audible click.
• The tank bag is unlocked by pressing a belt on the front of the backpack in the direction of travel.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for the use of the tank bag system.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload for the tank bag should not exceed about 3 kg.
• It is recommended to observe the requirements of the motorcycle manufacturer and the specific product instructions.

Differences to other tanking models

The basic tanking differs from the lock-it tanking by the type of locking. While the lock-it tanking is also equipped with magnets for centering, the locking is purely mechanical for the Basic model. However, both models use the same model -specific metal ring.

Further information: A tank bag that is designed for the lock-IT system is not compatible with basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that both the counter holder and the tanking come from the same system.
