The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic has been specially developed for the Suzuki V-Strom 650 L2 model, built in 2012-2016. This accessory serves to secure a tank bag secure and is tailored to the specific requirements of this machine.

In addition to the actual ring, the fuel also includes a counter holder, which is attached to the tank bag, depending on the shape of the tank and the handle of the handlebar. The fuel lid can also be easily opened with assembled tanking.

Differences to other tanking systems

Compared to the Lock-IT fueling from Hepco & Becker, which also work with magnets for centering, the Basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

It is important that tank bag and tanking are compatible and come from the same system, since a tank bag with lock-IT counterholder cannot be mounted on a basic tanking and vice versa.
