This tanking has been specially developed for the GSX-S 1000 GT model of the Suzuki brand, including the Travel Edition. The compatibility extends to the construction years 2022 to 2025.

Product features

The tanking basic enables a safe and easy attachment of a tank bag from Hepco & Becker. The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counterholder, which is mounted on the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar. Even with assembled tanking, access to the fuel cap remains without restrictions.

• The tank bag is placed on the tanking and locked itself audibly.
• The unlocking is easy by pressing a belt on the tank bag.
• Stable hold of the tank bag, even at high speeds up to 130 km/h.
• Recommended maximum payload for the tank bag: approx. 3 kg.
• No general operating license (ABE) required in Germany.

Differences to other tankingen

Compared to the Lock-IT tanking from Hepco & Becker, which also works with magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but differ in the type of domes mounted on the ring.

It should also be noted that tank bags and counterholder within the same system must be compatible in order to ensure correct function.
