Product description: Hepco & Becker Tankring Basic for Royal Enfield Himalayan 450

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 of the construction years 2024 to 2025. This accessory enables a safe and easy attachment of a tank bag directly to the motorcycle.

Product features and scope of delivery

• Stable anchoring the tank bag, even at higher speeds
• Mechanical locking that ensures simple handling
• Clearly audible snapping of the tank bag on the tanking
• The tank bag is unlocked via a belt on the front
• No general operating license (ABE) or entry in vehicle documents in Germany
• Recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag: 130 km/h
• Recommended maximum payload: approx. 3 kg

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and the corresponding counterholder, which is attached to the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar. Access to the tank cover remains without restrictions even with fueling fueling.

Compatibility and assembly

The tanking basic fits only for the specified model and the specific construction years. The assembly instructions and model -specific information must be observed in order to ensure the correct attachment. A check and adjustment based on the vehicle data is recommended.

Differences to other tanking systems

Compared to the Lock-IT system from Hepco & Becker, which also works with magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same metallic floor ring, but the screwed -up components differ in material and functionality.

Please note that a tank bag with a lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with the basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that tank sac countertakers and tanking come from the same system.
