Product description: Tanking Basic for Kawasaki Z 1000 SX

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the motorcycle model Kawasaki Z 1000 SX from the years of construction 2015 to 2016. This product enables a secure and easy attachment of a compatible tank bag directly to the machine's fuel tank.

The scope of delivery of the tanking basic contains both the tanking itself and an adaptable counter holder, which can be mounted on the motorcycle depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebar. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even with assembled tanking, which the use considerably simplifies.

The tanking works through a mechanical lock that securely attaches the tank bag to the motorcycle. The backpack is removed by loosening a mechanism that is located at the front of the tank bag and enables the backpack to be removed quickly from the tank.

It is important that the tank bag and tanking come from the same system to ensure compatibility. A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with the basic tanking.

The basic tanking differs from the lock-it model mainly by the type of locking. While the Lock-IT tanking also uses magnets for the centering, the BASIC model makes the lock in a purely mechanical way.
