Hepco & Becker's tanking basics have been specially developed for the models Kawasaki GPZ 750 (construction years 1984-1986) and GPZ 900 R (construction years 1984-1993). This product enables safe and easy attachment of tank bags to the machine.

Product scope and installation

The scope of delivery includes the tanking Basic and the corresponding counterholder, which is attached to the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the fold of the handlebar. The fuel lid can be easily opened even with fueling fueling, which simplifies the handling.

When using the Basic tankring, it should be noted that a tank bag with a lock-IT counter holder is not compatible. Both components must be of the same system to ensure correct function.

The difference between the basic and the lock-it tanking lies in the type of locking: While the basic tanking works purely mechanically, the lock-IT system also support the centering of the backpack on tanking.
