Product description: Tanking Basic for Honda NT 650 V Deauville

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the motorcycle model Honda NT 650 V Deauville from 1998 to 2005. This product enables a safe and easy attachment of a tank bag directly to the fuel tank of the motorcycle. The tanking and the corresponding counterholder are included, whereby the counter holder is adapted to the tank bag and installed according to the tank shape and the handlebar.

The assembly of the tanking does not affect the functionality of the fuel cap, which remains without problems even when tanking is attached. No other components are required for the installation except a compatible tank bag.

Technical features and operation:

• The tanking ensures a stable hold, even at higher speeds.
• The operation is carried out by a mechanical locking, which enables a clearly audible snapping when the tank bag is put on.
• The system is unlocked via a belt on the front part of the tank bag in the direction of travel, which means that the backpack is easy to remove.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for tank sack systems.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload for the tank bag should not exceed about 3 kg.

Differences to other tankring models:

Compared to the Lock-IT fueling from Hepco & Becker, which also use magnets for the centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

A notice: Tank bags and counterholder must fit the corresponding tanking system and are not compatible with each other.
