Product features and scope of delivery

The scope of delivery includes the tanking basic and an adaptable counter holder, which is attached to the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the handlebar. Even when tanking is attached, the tank cover remains fully accessible.

Assembly and compatibility

The assembly of the tanking is uncomplicated and only requires the combination with a corresponding tank bag for the aforementioned motorcycle model series. The tanking is mounted on the fuel cap and enables the tank bag to be attached and stable.

Technical details and security

• The tanking ensures a secure hold, even at high speeds.
• The operation is carried out by a mechanical lock, which enables a clearly audible snapping of the tank bag.
• For unlocking, a mechanism that is located at the front of the tank backpack is operated, whereupon the backpack can be easily removed.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for the use of the tank bag system.

Comparison with Lock-IT fenkring

While the general functioning and handling remain the same, the basic tanking is different from the purely mechanical lock from Lock-IT fenkring, which also works with magnets for centering. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

It should be noted that a tank bag with a lock-IT counterholder cannot be installed on a basic tank ring and vice versa. Tank sack counterfeiters and tanking must come from the same system.
