The Hepco & Becker tanking basic is specially designed for the Honda CMX 500 Rebel models from the construction years 2017 to 2025. This accessory enables the safe and easy attachment of a compatible tank bag directly to the motorcycle tank.

Scope of delivery

In addition to the tanking, the tanking basic also includes a customizable counter holder, which is mounted on the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even when fueled.

Differences to other tanking systems

Compared to the Lock-IT system from Hepco & Becker, which also works with magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but differ in the type of fastening elements on the ring.

Further important information: A tank bag that is designed for the lock-IT system does not fit the basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that both the tank bag and tanking come from the same system.
