The Hepco & Becker tanking basic is specially designed for the motorcycle model Honda CMX 1100 Rebel, including the DCT version, for the construction years 2021 to 2024. This innovative fastening solution enables quick and safe installation of a corresponding tank bag directly on the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

The tanking basic differs from the lock-it version by the type of locking. While the basic tanking works exclusively mechanically, the lock-IT version of additional magnets supports the centering of the tank bag. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but the fastening technology varies.

It is important that the components of the tank bag system (tanking and counterholder) must be compatible. A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with a basic tanking and vice versa.

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and the necessary counterholder, which can be individually adapted to the tank shape and the handlebar of the motorcycle. Access to the tank cover remains unimpeded even when fueled.
