Ducati Monster 1100 [2009-2010] - Tanking Basic including counterpart tank bag

The Hepco & Becker tanking basic was specially developed for the Ducati Monster 1100 of the construction years 2009 to 2010. This product enables reliable and easy assembly of a tank bag directly on the motorcycle tank.

In addition to the tanking, the tanking basic also includes a customizable counter holder, which is attached to the tank bag depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebar. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even with assembled tanking, which the use considerably simplifies.

• The tanking offers a secure hold, even at high driving speeds.
• The assembly of the Hepco & Becker tank bag is carried out by simply putting on the tanking and is secured by a clearly audible snap.
• To remove the tank bag, the unlocking mechanism, which is located at the front of the backpack, is operated.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for tank sack systems.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload for the tank bag should not exceed about 3 kg.

The basic tanking mechanically locks and thus differs from the lock-it tankingen, which are also equipped with magnets for centering. It is important to note that tank bags and counterholder of the lock-IT system are not compatible with the basic tanking.
