Product description: Tanking Basic for BMW R 1200 GS Adventure

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic has been specially developed for the motorcycle model BMW R 1200 GS Adventure from the construction years 2014 to 2018. This product enables a secure and easy attachment of a compatible tank bag directly to the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counterholder, which can be installed on the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the handlebar. Access to the tank cover remains unimpeded even with assembled tanking.

The installation of the tanking only requires the presence of a corresponding tank bag for the model mentioned, further adjustments are not required.

Additional Information

The basic tanking differs from the Lock-IT tanking with its purely mechanical locking function, while the lock-IT fueling is also equipped with magnets for centering. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

It should be noted that tank bags and counterholder within the same system must be compatible in order to ensure correct function.
