The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the BMW R 1150 RT motorcycle model, which was produced in the construction years 2001 to 2005. This accessory enables the tank bag to be secured and easy to attach to the machine.

The tanking and an adaptable counter holder are included in the scope of delivery. This can be installed depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebar attack on the tank bag. Even if the tanking is attached, access to the fuel cap remains without restrictions.

For the installation, only the tanking and a compatible tank bag for the models mentioned are required. Information on the compatibility of other models can be found in the "Mein Bike" database or via the manual checklist in the online shop under the 'Tankring Basic' category.

Differences to Lock-IT fenkringen

While the basic function and operation remains identical, the basic tanking differs from the purely mechanical locking from the lock-IT tankingen, which also use magnets for centering.
