The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic has been specially developed for the BMW HP 2 motorcycle model, construction years 2005 to 2008. This accessory serves to attach a stable attachment of a tank bag and is designed for simple handling.

Product features

• The tanking enables the tank bag to be securely fixed, even when driving at higher speeds.
• Mechanical locking ensures easy usability and a clearly audible snap -in mechanism when putting on the tank bag.
• The backpack can be removed quickly and easily by pressing a belt on the front.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for the use of the tank bag system.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• Maximum recommended payload for the tank bag: approx. 3 kg.

Installation and compatibility

The tanking is delivered together with a counter holder, which is attached to the tank, depending on the shape of the tank and handlebar. Access to the tank cover remains uncomplicated even with assembled tanking.

It is important to observe the specific instructions of the motorcycle manufacturer and the model -specific details in the assembly instructions. The tanking basic has a purely mechanical lock, in contrast to the Lock-IT fenuscas from Hepco & Becker, which also work with magnets for centering.

Please note that tank bags and counterholder within the same system must be compatible in order to ensure correct function.
