The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Aprilia Tuono 125 motorcycle model, which was produced between the years 2016 and 2025. This accessory enables a safe and easy assembly of a tank bag directly on the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

Product features and scope of delivery

In addition to the tanking, the scope of delivery of the tanking basic also includes an adaptable counterholder, which is mounted on the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the handlebars. The assembly of the tankring does not affect the accessibility or the function of the fuel cap, which can still be opened without any problems.

Technical details and security

• The tanking ensures a stable hold of the tank bag, even at higher speeds.
• The fuel is installed and operated via a mechanical lock, which enables a clearly audible snapping of the tank bag.
• The system is unlocked simply by pressing a belt on the front part of the tank bag in the direction of travel.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for the tank sack system.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum recommended payload of the tank bag is around 3 kg.

It should be noted that tank bags and counterholder must be compatible within the same system. A tank bag with a lock-IT counter holder is not mounted on a basic tanking and vice versa. The basic tanking differs from the lock-it fueling mainly by the type of locking. While the lock-IT fueling also works with magnets for centering, the locking is purely mechanical for the basic model.
