The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the Aprilia SL 750 Shiver, construction years 2007 to 2009. This accessory enables a safe and easy assembly of a tank bag directly on the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

In addition to the tanking, the necessary counterholder is included in the scope of delivery of the tanking basic. This is attached to the tank bag according to the specific tank shape and the handlebar. The construction of the tanking allows the fuel cap to open the fuel cap even without any problems.

Characteristics

• Stable hold of the tank bag, even at high speeds
• The assembly takes place by a mechanical locking, which enables a clearly audible snapping when the backpack is put on
• To remove the backpack, the release mechanism is operated, which is attached to the front of the backpack
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) is required to use the tank bag system
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h
• The maximum payload for the tank bag should not exceed about 3 kg

The basic tanking differs from the lock-IT model with its exclusively mechanical locking. While the lock-IT fueling also works with magnets for centering, the basic tanking is only based on mechanical components. Note that tank bags and tanking should be compatible and should come from the same system.

A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with a basic tanking ring and vice versa. It is important that both components from the same system are used.
