The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Aprilia RS 457 motorcycle model, construction years 2024 to 2025. This product enables safe and easy assembly of tank bags from the same manufacturer.

Product content and assembly

In addition to the ring, the scope of delivery of the tanking Basic also includes a customizable counterholder, which is attached to the tank and the handlebar on the tank bag. The installation of the tanker does not affect the accessibility of the tank cover, which can be opened without any problems even when the ring is installed.

Technical features

• The tanking ensures a stable hold, even at higher speeds.
• The operation is carried out by a mechanical lock that enables simple handling.
• The tank bag is placed on the tanking and locks itself with a clearly audible click.
• For unlocking, a belt is pulled on the front part of the tank bag, whereupon it can be easily removed.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) is required for fuel sac systems.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload for the tank bag should not exceed about 3 kg.

Differences to other tanking systems: Compared to the Lock-IT fenuso fuel from Hepco & Becker, which are also equipped with magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but differ in the components attached.

Further information: A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with a basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that tank sac counter and tanking comes from the same system.
