The Hepco & Becker Tankring Basic was specially developed for the Yamaha Tracer 900 and Tracer 900 GT models of the construction years 2021 to 2024. This product enables reliable and easy assembly of Hepco & Becker tank bags on the machine.

Product features and scope of delivery

The tanking basic is included in the scope of delivery of the tanking and an adaptable counterholder. This counter holder is attached to the tank bag according to the tank shape and the handlebar. The fuel cap remains fully accessible even with fueling fueling, so that the use of the fuel cap is unaffected.

Technical details and assembly

The assembly of the tanking is uncomplicated and only requires the combination with a corresponding tank bag for the models mentioned. The tanking offers a secure hold and simple handling through a mechanical lock. The tank bag is easy to put on and is confirmed by an audible click. The unlocking takes place via a belt on the tank bag, which can easily be removed.

Security and regulations

• The tanking ensures a stable hold even at high speeds.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload of the tank bag should not exceed approx. 3 kg.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for tank sack systems.

Differences to other tanking systems

The basic tanking has a purely mechanical locking, in contrast to the Lock-IT fenkringen, which also work with magnets for centering. However, the basic functionality and operation remains identical in both systems.
