Hepco & Becker's tanking Basic for the Moto Guzzi V 7 Café Classic, Classic and Special models from the years of construction 2008 to 2014 is a practical solution for attaching a tank bag. This system allows the tank bag to be safely and quickly assembled on the motorcycle.

The scope of delivery of the tanking basic includes the tanking itself and a counter holder, which is attached to the tank and the handlebar on the tank bag. Even with tanking attached, the tank cover can be opened without any problems.

Properties of the tanking basic

• Safe hold of the tank bag, even at high speeds
• Easy handling through mechanical locking
• Clearly audible snapping of the tank bag on the tanking
• Unlocking is done by a belt on the front part of the tank bag in the direction of travel
• No ABE or entry in vehicle documents in Germany required
• Maximum recommended speed with assembled tank bag: 130 km/h
• Recommended maximum weight for the content of the tank bag: approx. 3 kg

Differences to other tanking systems

Compared to the Lock-IT tanking, which is also equipped with magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

In addition, it should be noted that tank sac countertakers and tanking must be compatible and cannot be exchanged between the Basic and Lock-IT systems.
