The Regina 525 HPE Z-Ring Chain with Rivet Link sets new standards in motorcycle chain performance and durability. This sophisticated chain does not require regular relubrication, which would be every 1,000 km. This is a significant advantage for motorcyclists who value low maintenance.

Extensive tests in the laboratory and on the road have proven that the service life of the HPE chain is at least as long, if not longer, than that of a conventional, regularly lubricated Z-ring chain. Another outstanding feature of this chain is the coating with Tetrahedral Amorphous Carbon (ta-C), one of the most advanced coatings from the group of DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coatings. This coating is applied to the surface of the bushings and rollers and offers a significant reduction in energy losses and an increase in efficiency in the secondary drive.

The extremely hard surface of the ta-C coating combined with a low coefficient of friction results in improved performance. Additionally, eliminating the need for chain cleaning and preventing lubricant splashes during operation minimizes environmental impact. This innovative technology was developed through intensive research and development work by Regina engineers in Italy.
