The Regina 525 HPE Z-Ring Chain with Rivet Link sets new standards in performance and ease of maintenance for motorcyclists. This state-of-the-art chain eliminates the need for regular relubrication, which is typically required every 1,000 km. Extensive testing in the laboratory and on the road has proven that the durability of the HPE chain is at least equal to, if not greater than, that of a conventional, regularly lubricated Z-ring chain.

A standout feature of the HPE chain is the tetrahedral amorphous carbon (ta-C) coating, one of the most advanced forms of DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coatings. This coating is applied to the surface of the chain's bushings and rollers and provides a significant reduction in energy losses as well as increased efficiency in the secondary drive. The extremely high hardness of the coated surface combined with a low coefficient of friction results in optimized performance.
