YAMAHA YZ 450 [2023-2025] - Evolution Line (Ti) exhaust system

Akrapovic's Evolution Line (Ti) exhaust system, specifically developed for the YZ450F from model year 2023, represents the pinnacle of collaboration between Akrapovic's Racing R&D and R&D departments. This exhaust system is almost identical to the one used by the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP Team in the 2023 Motocross World Championship. Its bespoke design means it makes optimal use of the limited space on the motorcycle and is the largest possible system this space allows.

Manufactured from high-quality titanium alloys, the system offers a weight saving of 20.4% (0.9 kg) compared to the stock exhaust. Different material thicknesses in each section ensure perfect protection and reduce overall weight, while the additional strength created by the design offers increased resistance in the most demanding conditions. It improves response across the rev range, increasing power and torque by an additional 1.8 kW (2.4 hp) at 10,600 rpm and 1.5 Nm at 10,500 rpm, as determined by testing against a standard exhaust system.

A new, profiled surface design influences the deep, full sound and an integrated resonance chamber optimizes performance and matches the sound of an Akrapovic exhaust, while meeting FIM competition noise limits. The logo is applied using a special technique, without the use of stickers or engravings. Designed exclusively for use on closed circuits, installation is simple and does not require reconfiguration of the engine controls. For drivers who need to meet the new 109 dB FIM noise limits, installation of the optional V-TUV386 noise insert is mandatory.
