Overview of the tanking basic for Yamaha XSR 700 (2016-2021)

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic has been specially developed for the Yamaha XSR 700 and Xtribute of the construction years 2016 to 2021. This accessories are used to secure a compatible tank bag directly on the motorcycle.

Scope of delivery and assembly

The scope of delivery includes tanking and a customizable counterholder. This counter holder can be attached to the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the impact of the handlebar. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even with assembled tanking, which the use considerably simplifies.

Characteristics and operation

• Safe stop: The tanking ensures a firm seat of the tank bag, even at high driving speeds.
• Easy handling: The tank bag is placed on the tanking and locked itself audibly.
• Unlocking system: To remove the backpack, the release mechanism, which is located at the front of the backpack, is operated.
• No vehicle entry required: No general operating license (ABE) is necessary in Germany to use the tanking system.
• Maximum speed and payload: A maximum speed of 130 km/h is recommended for fueled tank bag and a maximum payload of approx. 3 kg.

Different to Lock-IT fenkringen

The basic tanking mechanically locks and thus differs from the lock-IT tankingen, which also use magnets for centering. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

It is important to note that tank sac countertakers and tanking must be compatible and cannot be exchanged between the Basic and Lock-IT systems.
