Product description: Tanking Basic for Yamaha XJR 1300

This product from Hepco & Becker has been specially developed for the Yamaha XJR 1300 models from 1999 to 2003. The tanking Basic enables a secure and easy attachment of a compatible tank bag from Hepco & Becker.

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counter holder, which is attached to the motorcycle depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebar. Access to the tank cover remains without restrictions even with fueling fueling.

For the installation, only the tanking and a suitable tank bag for the model mentioned is required. Information on model-specific tankingen can be found in the "Mein Bike" database or via the checklist in the online shop under the category "Tankring Basic".

Features:

  • Safe support even at high speeds
  • Mechanical locking enables easy operation
  • Put on and audible locking of the tank bag on the tanking
  • The backpack is unlocked via a front belt on the tank bag in the direction of travel
  • No ABE or entry in vehicle documents in Germany necessary
  • Recommended top speed with assembled tank bag: 130 km/h
  • Recommended maximum payload: about 3 kg
  • Consideration of the manufacturers of the motorcycle and the model -specific information is recommended

Difference between lock-it and basic tankingen:

The basic functions and the handling are identical to both types of tanking. The main difference lies in locking technology: While the basic tanking is mechanically locked, the centering also supports magnets with Lock-IT. Die Montageplatten aus Metall sind bei beiden Varianten gleich.

Further information:

A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with a basic tanking ring and vice versa. It is important that tank sac countertakers and tanking come from the same system.
