Technical details

The tank bag is made of thermoformed EVA and coated with 600D polyester and PU. The materials used are UV-resistant according to ISO 4892-2:3013 and have a tested exposure time of 500 hours in a Q-Sun Xenon test chamber. In addition, the materials comply with REACH regulations.

Functionalities

The tank bag's features include various practical features:

• Reflective elements for better visibility
• Includes rain protection
• Carry handle and adjustable shoulder strap for easy transport
• A safety padlock can be attached to the provided shackle
• The backpack is 100% waterproof and has a removable smartphone holder
• A cable outlet is available and compatible with the GIVI Powerhub charging system

The assembly process of the tank bag is carried out using a special fastening system (TanklockED), which securely fixes the backpack to the tank. A special mounting ring (not included) is required. The integrated security lock provides additional security by securing the tank bag to the vehicle when it is unattended. This lock is compatible with the SL102, SL103 or SL105 security keys, which are also used for other GIVI products such as top cases and side cases.

Notes on compatibility and assembly

The tank bag was specially developed for the Yamaha XJR 1300 models built between 2004 and 2006. It is recommended that the assembly be carried out by a qualified mechanic to ensure correct attachment and functionality. Compatibility with accessories from other manufacturers is not guaranteed.
