The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the motorcycle model Yamaha XJ 600 S, built in 1991 to 1995. This accessory serves the safe and easy attachment of a tank backpack, whereby the tank cover can be easily opened even when tanking is attached.

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and the right counter holder, which is adapted to the motorcycle depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebar. The assembly of the tanking enables a mechanical lock that ensures stable and secure attachment of the tank bag.

Notes on compatibility: The tanking basic is specific to the model mentioned and differs from other systems, such as the lock-IT tanking, mainly by the type of locking. While the Lock-IT tanking also uses magnets for centering, the locking is purely mechanical during basic tanking.

Further information: It is important that both the tanking and the counter holder of the tank bag come from the same system to ensure a correct function. A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with a basic tanking.
