YAMAHA WR 450 F [2024-2025] - Evolution Line (Ti) exhaust system

The Evolution Line (Ti) exhaust system from Akrapovic, specifically developed for the YZ450F from model year 2023, represents the pinnacle of technical innovation in the field of motorcycle exhaust systems. Through close collaboration between Akrapovic's racing and R&D departments, an exhaust system has been developed that is nearly identical to the specifications used by the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP Team in the 2023 Motocross World Championship.

This highly customized design makes the most of the limited space on the motorcycle and is the largest possible system that space allows. It allows for improved sound attenuation to minimize impact on the natural environment, while supporting improved exhaust gas flow, allowing exhaust gases to escape the combustion chamber with the least possible restrictions. The system is made entirely from lightweight, high quality titanium alloys and offers a weight saving of 20.4% (0.9 kg) compared to the stock exhaust.

The different wall thicknesses of each section ensure perfect protection and reduce overall weight, while the additional strength created by the design offers increased resistance in the most demanding conditions. The system increases response across the entire rev range, increasing power and torque by an additional 1.8 kW (2.4 hp) at 10,600 rpm and 1.5 Nm at 10,500 rpm, as measured by testing against a standard exhaust system.

A re-profiled surface profile that influences the deep, full sound and an integrated resonance chamber ensure optimal performance and an Akrapovic exhaust-worthy sound that meets FIM noise limits for competition. For drivers who need to comply with the new 109 dB FIM noise limits, installation of the optional V-TUV386 noise insert is mandatory. This product is designed for closed circuit use only and does not require remapping upon installation.
