Setting options

The shock absorber offers advanced adjustment options to optimally adapt to your driving habits and conditions:

• Low speed compression: 24 clicks
• High speed compression: 20 clicks
• Extension: 24 clicks
• Hydraulic spring preload: 12mm = 24 clicks
• Center distance: 8 mm

The hydraulic preload of the shock absorber can be easily adjusted by hand or with a 14 mm hex wrench. An ergonomically shaped handwheel allows adjustment without additional tools and can be attached to all models with hydraulic preload since 2009.

Special features

Filled with nitrogen and equipped with a floating oil/gas separator piston in a separate compensation chamber, the shock absorber offers outstanding performance. The piston skirt has a diameter of 16 mm and has an anti-friction treatment, which increases service life and efficiency. The upper connection head made of aeronautical aluminum alloy, manufactured using CNC machines, ensures a robust and precise connection.

The compensation tray is separated from the main body, improving fluid cooling and allowing flexible positioning. A high-pressure metal braided hose connects the components and optimizes the damping response, resulting in improved grip and comfort.

Included are specific installation instructions for each motorcycle model and a damping manual to help you get the best performance from your new shock absorber.

For additional adjustments, an Ergal three-blade handwheel is available to replace the preload knob and allow for even easier adjustment.
