Product description: Tanking Basic for Yamaha Ténéré 700 (from built in 2025)

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Yamaha Ténéré 700 motorcycle model, starting with the year of construction 2025. This product enables a safe and easy attachment of a corresponding tank bag directly to the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

The tanking basic delivery itself and an adaptable counter holder are included, which is installed depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebars on the tank bag. A special feature of this system is that the tank cover remains accessible even when tanking is attached without restrictions.

To install the tanking basic, the user only needs this ring and a compatible tank bag for the Yamaha Ténéré 700 model from 2025.

Properties of the tanking basic

  • Safe hold of the tank bag, even at high speeds
  • Mechanical locking enables easy operation
  • Put on and audible snaps in the tank bag on the tanking
  • Unlocking of the backpack by pressing a belt on the front area in the direction of travel
  • No need to register in vehicle documents in Germany
  • Recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag: 130 km/h
  • Recommended maximum weight for the tank backpack: approx. 3 kg
  • Consideration of the manufacturers of the motorcycle and the specific instructions for the product

Differences to other tanking systems

The basic tanking differs primarily from the lock-it system by the type of locking. While the Lock-IT tanking also uses magnets for the centering, the locking is only mechanical for basic tanking. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

Further information: A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with a basic tanking and Vice Versa. It is important that tank sac countertakers and tanking come from the same system.
