The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the Yamaha MT-09 motorcycle model in the construction years 2017 to 2020. This product enables a stable and secure attachment of a tank bag directly to the fuel tank of the motorcycle. The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counter holder, which is mounted on the tank bag depending on the specific tank shape and handlebar.

Even when fueling is attached, access to the fuel cap remains without restrictions, which makes use of everyday life considerably easier. To assemble this system, you only need the tanking and a compatible tank bag for the specified motorcycle model.

Differences to other tankingen

Basic tanking differs from the lock-it system mainly by the type of locking. While the Lock-IT tanking also uses magnets for centering, the locking is purely mechanically on the basic model. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

It should also be noted that tank bags with Lock-IT opposite holders are not compatible with a basic tankring and Vice Versa. It must always be ensured that tanking and counterholder come from the same system.
