The ALERONS D12 from PUIG represent an innovative development in the field of motorcycle aerodynamics. Developed for the YAMAHA MT-07 PURE model from 2024, these side wings offer optimized aerodynamic performance for high-performance motorcycles.

Technical details

The ALERONS D12 features a double wing design complemented by precisely separated surfaces with an integrated side winglet. This design allows airflow to be effectively channeled upwards, creating increased aerodynamic loading (downforce) without compromising the overall aerodynamic coefficient.

The carefully calculated slope of the wing surfaces ensures a perfect balance between performance and stability. This results in an aerodynamic load of up to 4.4 kg on the front axle, which has a positive effect on driving stability at high speeds, reduces wheelie behavior, improves braking performance and ensures more consistent changes of direction.

Material and assembly

Manufactured entirely in Barcelona, the ALERONS D12 combine advanced engineering with competition design. They are made from 4mm thick CN acrylic material which features rounded edges for increased safety. It is attached using 2 mm thick metal brackets with a textured black surface.

Assembling the wings is easy and does not require any special mechanical knowledge. It can be easily carried out using the enclosed instructions.
