The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Yamaha FZS 600, built years 1998 to 2004. This product enables a reliable and easy attachment of a tank bag directly to the motorcycle.

In addition to the tanking, the tanking basic also includes a customizable counter holder, which is mounted on the tank bag depending on the specific tank shape and handlebar impact. The fuel lid also remains fully accessible with assembled tanking, which is considerably simplified.

Assembly and compatibility

The assembly of the tanking is quick and uncomplicated. The tank backpack is placed on the tanking and is safe. An audible lock signals that the backpack is correctly positioned. To loosen the backpack, a mechanism that is located at the front of the backpack is operated, which can easily be removed.

• The stop of the tank bag is also secured at high speeds.
• The operation of the locking mechanism is simple and intuitive.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for the use of the tank bag system.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.

Differences to other tankingen

Compared to the Lock-IT system from Hepco & Becker, which also uses magnets for the centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but differ in the type of essays used on the ring.
