The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Triumph Tiger 800 XC, XCX, XCA from 2015 to 2019 models. This accessory serves the safe and easy assembly of a corresponding tank bag directly on the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

Product features

• The tanking ensures a stable hold of the tank bag, even at high speeds.
• A mechanical locking enables easy on and secure locking of the tank backpack.
• The locking mechanism can be easily loosened by a train on the belt of the tank bag, which makes it easier to lose weight.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for the use of the tank bag system.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload for the tank bag should not exceed about 3 kg.

Installation and compatibility

The tanking basic is included in the tanking basic and an adaptable counter holder, which is mounted on the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the handlebar. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even when fueled.

Differences to other tanking systems

Compared to the Lock-IT tanking from Hepco & Becker, which also works with magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but differ in the type of dome mounted on the ring, which are made of plastic in the basic model.

Please note that a tank bag with a lock-IT counterholder cannot be installed on a basic tank ring and vice versa. It is important that tank sac counter and tanking comes from the same system.
