The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Triumph Speed ​​Triple 1050 of the construction years 2006-2007 models. This accessory enables a secure and easy attachment of a compatible tank bag directly to the motorcycle tank.

Product features:

• Stable hold of the tank bag, even at higher driving speeds
• The operation is carried out via a mechanical locking that ensures simple handling
• The tank bag is placed on the tanking and locks up with a clearly audible click
• For unlocking, a belt is pulled on the tank bag, which is attached to the front in the direction of travel, whereupon the backpack can be easily removed
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for this system
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h
• Maximum recommended payload for the tank backpack: approx. 3 kg

Differences to other tanking systems:
Compared to the Lock-IT system from Hepco & Becker, which also uses magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers purely mechanical locking without using magnets. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

Further information:
A tank pack that is designed for the lock-IT system cannot be mounted on a basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that tank bags and tanking come from the same system.
