The KAOKO Cruise Control Cruise Control Speed Stabilizer is an innovative solution for motorcyclists who want to maintain a constant speed without constant intervention. This product not only provides comfort on long journeys, but also improves safety and control of the vehicle.
A throttle stabilizer is a throttle control mechanism that allows the driver to lock the throttle at a desired opening or setting. The KAOKO Throttle Stabilizer Kit consists of a simple, ingenious and robustly constructed friction nut that is integrally connected to a special KAOKO™ bar end weight. The KAOKO™ bar end weight is similar in appearance and weight to the original manufacturer (OEM) bar end weight. Most installations simply require removing the OEM bar end weight and installing the KAOKO Throttle Stabilizer Kit in its place.
To activate: As the throttle is turned on, the friction nut can be pinched between your pinky finger and the palm of your hand. This action tightens the nut and creates enough friction to adjust the throttle to the desired opening. (The friction is such that the driver can continue to open and close the throttle; it only has a slight resistance to rotation.)
To deactivate: While turning back the throttle, grasp the friction nut between your pinky finger and the palm of your hand. The throttle should open freely and close quickly when deactivated correctly.
A set of unique and specific product installation instructions is included with every KAOKO Throttle Stabilizer. Assembly is quick and easy and can be completed in just a few minutes. In most cases, installing the KAOKO cruise control kit simply requires removing the OEM throttle side arm weight and replacing it with the KAOKO cruise control kit.
