The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic has been specially developed for the Suzuki SV 650 models from the years of construction 2003 to 2006. This product enables stable and secure attachment of a compatible tank bag directly to the motorcycle tank.

Differences to other tanking systems

Compared to the Lock-IT system from Hepco & Becker, which also works with magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but differ in the type of components attached to the ring.

Please note that a tank bag with a Lock-IT counter holder cannot be installed on a basic tank ring and vice versa. It is important that tank bags and tanking come from the same system.
