The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Suzuki RF 600 R models from 1993 to 1994. This product enables a reliable attachment of a tank bag directly to the motorcycle tank.

Product features and scope of delivery

The scope of delivery of this product includes the tanking basic, which is tailored to the specific tank of the Suzuki RF 600 R. In addition, an adaptable counter holder is included, which is installed depending on the shape of the tank and the handlebar on the tank bag. Even with assembled tanking, access to the fuel cap remains without restrictions.

Installation and compatibility

The tanking and the corresponding tank bag are easy to install. The lock is mechanically and can be seen by a clear click noise. A belt that is at the front of the tank bag is used to unlock. This enables the backpack to be removed quickly from the motorcycle.

Differences to other tanking systems

The basic tanking differs primarily from the lock-it system by the type of locking. While the Lock-IT tanking also uses magnets for the centering, the locking is purely mechanical for basic tanking. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

Note that tank bags and counterholder must be system -compatible. A lock-IT counter holder is not compatible with a basic tankring and vice versa.
