Advantages of GEL technology

The GEL technology of the intAct Bike-Power batteries offers up to 30% more power compared to conventional motorcycle batteries. By using fleece separators and a fixed electrolyte in gel form, these batteries achieve very low self-discharge and excellent vibration resistance, making them particularly long-lasting and reliable.

Care and maintenance

To maximize the life of your motorcycle battery, proper care and maintenance is essential. It is important to use the battery exclusively for its intended purpose, especially as a starter battery for vehicles with internal combustion engines. Make sure that the surface of the battery remains clean and dry at all times to prevent the formation of leakage currents and thus increased self-discharge.

Check the level regularly and add purified water (not accumulator acid) if necessary, especially if high water loss is detected. The ideal storage temperature for a battery is between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius to minimize self-discharge and reduce water requirements.

Charge and capacity

Constant monitoring of the charge level is required to ensure that the battery is always at least 75% charged. This avoids damage and ensures sufficient starting safety. Using the battery below this charge level may affect its lifespan. A 100% charge is ideal for maximum efficiency and benefit.

Make sure the battery is charged regularly, especially if the vehicle is used seasonally or has long periods of standstill. This helps to avoid deep discharge, which can often lead to total failure.
