The Hepco & Becker Tankring Basic was specially developed for the model Suzuki GSX-S 1000 GX of the construction years 2024 to 2025. This accessory is used to secure the Hepco & Becker brand on the machine.

Product features

• The tanking enables stable and safe installation of the tank bag, even at high speeds.
• The operation is carried out by a mechanical lock, which ensures a clearly audible snapping of the tank backpack.
• For unlocking, a belt on the front of the tank backpack is pulled in the direction of travel, whereupon the backpack can be easily removed.
• The assembly of the tankring does not affect the accessibility of the fuel cap, which can continue to be opened without any problems.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is required for the use of the tank bag system.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h and the maximum payload should not exceed 3 kg.

Installation and compatibility

The tanking basic is delivered together with a counter holder, which is attached to the tank shape and the handlebar on the tank bag. No other parts are necessary for the installation. It is important that both the tanking and the counter holder come from the same system to avoid compatibility problems.

Differences to other tankingen

Compared to the Lock-IT tanking from Hepco & Becker, which also uses magnets for the centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.
