Tanking Basic from Hepco & Becker for Suzuki GSX-R 750

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Suzuki GSX-R 750 motorcycle model from the construction years 2008 to 2010. This product enables a solid and secure attachment of a corresponding tank bag directly to the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

Product features and scope of delivery

The tanking basic relies on a mechanical lock that ensures simple handling. The assembly of the tankring enables the fuel cap to open the fuel cap even without any problems if the ring is attached. The scope of delivery includes the tanking itself and an adaptable counter holder, which is installed depending on the tank shape and the handlebar on the tank bag.

• The tanking ensures a secure hold, even at high speeds.
• The locking of the tank bag on the tanking is clearly audible.
• The unlocking of the backpack is carried out by a belt on the front part of the backpack, which makes it easier to lose weight.
• The use of the tank bag system does not require a general operating license (ABE) in Germany or an entry in the vehicle documents.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload for the tank bag should not exceed about 3 kg.

Differences to other tanking systems

Compared to the Lock-IT tanking from Hepco & Becker, which also works with magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers purely mechanical locking without magnetic support. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

In addition, it should be noted that tank bags with lock-IT opposite holders cannot be installed on basic tankingen and vice versa. It is important that tank bags and tanking come from the same system.
