The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Suzuki GSX-R 750 motorcycle model from the 1991 built in. This article enables a secure and easy attachment of a compatible tank bag directly to the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

Scope of delivery and assembly

In addition to the ring, the scope of delivery of the tanking Basic also includes an adaptable counterholder, which is mounted on the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar impact. The tank cover remains fully accessible even with assembled tanking.

Differences to other tanking systems

Compared to systems such as the Lock-IT tanking from Hepco & Becker, which also works with magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but differ in the type of fastening elements on the ring.

It should be noted that tank bags with lock-IT counter holder cannot be installed on a basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that tank sac countertakers and tanking come from the same system.
