The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Suzuki GSX-R 600 from the construction years 2008 to 2010. This accessory enables safe and reliable assembly of a tank bag directly on the motorcycle.

Product features and scope of delivery

In addition to the ring, the scope of delivery of the tanking basic also includes an adaptable counter holder, which is attached to the tank bag depending on the specific tank shape and handlebar. The tank lid remains fully accessible even when tanking is attached, which the use is considerably simplified.

Assembly and compatibility

The assembly of the tanking is uncomplicated and only requires the combination of tankers with a compatible tank bag for the specified motorcycle model. A specific database ("Mein Bike") lists all model -specific tankers, and a checklist in the shop helps to check the compatibility of further models.

• The tanking ensures a secure hold even at high speeds.
• A mechanical lock enables easy handling and secure locking of the tank bag.
• The unlocking takes place through an easy -to -use mechanism on the tank bag.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for tank sack systems.

Differences to other tanking systems

Compared to the Lock-IT fueling from Hepco & Becker, which also work with magnets for centering, the Basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but differ in the type of fastening elements on the ring.

Further information: A tank bag with Lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with the basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that tank sac countertakers and tanking come from the same system.
