How the cruise control speed stabilizer works:

The KAOKO cruise control uses a simple, ingenious and robust friction nut that is firmly connected to a special handlebar end weight. This component is visually and weight-matched to the original handlebar end weight and is usually simply installed in its place.

To activate the cruise control, the driver grips the friction nut between the little finger and the palm of the hand while accelerating to lock in the desired speed. This friction still allows the rider to open or close the throttle, but provides slight resistance to rotation.
