Product description: Tanking Basic for Suzuki GSX 750

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the Suzuki GSX 750 model from 1998 to 2003. This assembly element is used to secure a compatible tank bag directly on the motorcycle tank.

Components and assembly

The tanking basic is included in the delivery of the tanking basic and an adaptable counterholder. The counter holder is mounted on the tank bag according to the tank shape and the handlebar of the motorcycle. Access to the tank cover remains without restrictions even with fueling, which guarantees high user -friendliness.

Features and functions

• The tanking enables a stable hold of the tank bag, even at high speeds.
• Due to a mechanical lock, the operation of the system is simple and safe.
• The fuel pack on the tanking is locked with a clearly audible click.
• The unlocking system works via a belt that is attached to the front part of the tank bag in the direction of travel.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for tank sack systems.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload for the tank bag should not exceed about 3 kg.

Differences to other tankingen

Compared to the Lock-IT fueling from Hepco & Becker, which also work with magnets for centering, the Basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring as the basis.

It is important to note that tank bags and counterholder within the same system must be compatible in order to ensure correct function.
