The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic has been specially developed for the Suzuki GSF 1250 Bandit, model years 2007 to 2016. This accessories are used for securing a tank bag and is tailored to the specific requirements of these motorcycle models.

Product features

• The tanking enables stable assembly of the tank bag, even at higher speeds.
• The tank bag is assembled by a mechanical locking, which signals a clearly audible snapping when putting on.
• The unlocking of the backpack is activated by a tensile mechanism, which is located at the front of the tank backpack.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is required to use the tank bag system.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload of the tank bag should not exceed 3 kg.

Scope of delivery and assembly

In addition to the ring, the scope of delivery of the tankring basic contains an adaptable counter holder, which is mounted on the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even when fueled.

Differences to other models

Compared to the Lock-IT fenuso fuel from Hepco & Becker, which are also equipped with magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

It should be noted that a tank bag with a lock-IT counterholder cannot be installed on a basic tank ring and vice versa. It must be ensured that tank bags and tanking are compatible.
