How the cruise control speed stabilizer works

The KAOKO Throttle Stabilizer kit consists of a simple, ingenious and robustly designed friction nut that is integrated into a special KAOKO handlebar end weight. The appearance and weight of the KAOKO bar end weight is closely matched to that of the original manufacturer. Installation usually only requires removing the original handlebar end weight and installing the KAOKO kit.

To activate cruise control, the friction nut is held between the pinky finger and palm during acceleration, which tightens the nut and creates enough friction to maintain the throttle opening at the desired setting. The function is designed so that the driver can still open and close the throttle, although with a slight resistance.

To deactivate the system, while releasing the throttle, the friction nut is again held between the little finger and the palm of the hand, allowing the throttle to open and close freely.
