Moto Guzzi V 85 TT [2024-2025] - Tanking Basic including counterpart tank sack

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic has been specially developed for the motorcycle model V 85 TT by Moto Guzzi for the construction years 2024-2025. This accessory enables a safe and easy assembly of a tank bag directly on the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

The tanking basic is included in the delivery of the tanking basic and an adaptable counterholder. The counter holder is mounted on the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the handle of the handlebar. Even when fueling is attached, access to the tank cover remains unimpeded.

Technical details

• The tanking ensures a stable hold of the tank bag, even at high driving speeds.
• The operation is carried out by a mechanical locking, which enables a clearly audible snapping when the tank bag is put on.
• The backpack is unlocked via a belt that is located in the front of the tank bag in the direction of travel.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for the use of the tank bag system.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload for the tank bag should not exceed about 3 kg.

Important instructions: It should be noted that a tank bag with a lock-IT counterholder cannot be installed on a basic tank ring and vice versa. Both components must be of the same system.

Differences between lock-it and basic tankingen: While both systems are similar in their basic function, the basic tanking differs by the purely mechanical locking without the support of magnets that contribute to the centering system. The basic structure of the metal ring is identical in both variants.
