The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the motorcycle model Moto Guzzi V 7 II Scrambler from the year of construction 2016. This product enables a solid and secure attachment of a tank bag directly to the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

Product features

• Stable and secure attachment of the tank bag, even at higher speeds
• The operation takes place via a mechanical locking that signals a clear snap
• The backpack is unlocked simply by pressing a belt on the front
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry is necessary for tank sack systems
• Recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag: 130 km/h
• Recommended maximum loading weight: about 3 kg

The fuel cap remains completely accessible even with fueling fueling, which does not restrict the use of the motorcycle. The scope of delivery includes the tanking and the corresponding counterholder, which is mounted on the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar.

Differences to the lock-it tanking

Compared to the Lock-IT model, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock without the support of magnets that serve for centering the lock-IT model. Both models use the same model -specific metal ring.

It is important to note that a tank bag with a lock-IT counterholder cannot be installed on a basic tanking and vice versa. The systems are not compatible.
