How the cruise control speed stabilizer works:

The KAOKO Stabilizer consists of a friction based nut connected to a custom bar end weight, replicating the look and weight of the manufacturer's original bar end weight. Installation is mostly simple and only requires removing the original bar end weight and attaching the KAOKO kit.

To activate: While turning the throttle grip, the friction nut can be held between your pinky finger and the palm of your hand. This action tightens the nut and creates enough friction to lock the throttle grip in the desired position. The friction is adjusted so that the rider can still open and close the throttle grip, but with a slight resistance.

To deactivate: As you release the throttle grip, hold the friction nut between your pinky finger and the palm of your hand again. The throttle grip should open and close freely when properly deactivated.
